Head of Architecture at adidas Digital — leading solution architecture across the DXP area (adidas.com, adidas App, adidas Confirmed, adidas Running). Running the architecture team, shaping tech strategy, and acting as technical advisor to senior leadership across adidas Digital Tech globally.
Building
quantum-toolbox — an AI agent toolkit that makes architectural thinking executable. The idea: write down how you think, structure it carefully, and give an AI agent the ability to apply it to real problems. 27+ skills, pure markdown, works with any agent that reads text.
A pocket voice recorder — ESP32-S3 puck, I2S mic, microSD, syncs over BLE to an Android app that transcribes on-device. Fully offline, no server, no cloud. Currently soldering the power chain and record button; following along on the devlog is more current than anything I’ll write here.
Building hardware more broadly — cyberdecks (custom portable computers), ESP32 and Arduino based devices and projects. Most of it is built to learn, keep practice, or research something specific. Some of it ends up in my public repositories: GitHub · Codeberg.
Writing
Back at it after a long gap. Working through a backlog of drafts — architecture practice, AI in the enterprise, the things I’ve learned doing both at scale. First articles coming soon.
Running
Currently training for the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, and the Egmond aan Zee half marathon is lined up for January 2028. Still looking for at least one more marathon this year.
Baking
Bread and pastry. The kind that takes two days and makes the house smell right.
Reading and learning
Systems thinking, complexity theory, and whatever else pulls me sideways. Reading a ton of hardcore sci-fi.
